At the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona last weekend, Michelle warmed up by turning on the music in her head before making hos fall back by hitting them with her hip shimmy. Homegirl even busts out some jazz fingers like her hand pores are spitting out fairy sparks. Seeing Michelle look thirty shades of happy makes me feel at least one shade of happy and that's saying a lot since I'm usually a bitter, miserable, straight-up crusty bitch. Michelle won't be spreading the sunshine at the Olympics this summer, but she still wins the gold medal in MAGIC!

When I was a pup in track and field, I always thought the hurdlers were some sort of masochists with constantly skinned knees from tripping over hurdles. Nothing compared to the wounds of the pole vaulters, though.
But this gal is poetry in motion, the loosening up is just a way of burning nervous energy when you are getting up for a race. I was amazed at how she powered her way ahead of the other gals and gained such a lead in the middle of the race. Lots of hurdlers take that first step after the jump to rest and get their balance, but she makes every step count.
For me, the race was more interesting than the jazzercise before it.
The announcers have a job of filling every second with some sort of commentary, and their commentary about her was certainly over-complicating it and air headed.
To a large degree, its the slow-mo that makes it look like something sensual. Also, when it comes to violating that nubile flesh, my preference was the austrian in lane 2. She maybe came in third.
I like her. But she might be good in small doses. She should be a cheerleader, though!

I REALLLLLLY wanted to hate this video but I can't. She's super cute although I could see wanting to strangle her if you had to put up with that routine at every meet. I think if she was American it really would have come across as obnoxious but because she's Australian it's fine.
Her youthful exuberance is appealing. I've competed in triathlons and the adrenaline runs through you like crazy before a race. It is not unusual to see people jumping and bouncing around like jack rabbits before it starts.
