QOTD: Gavin Rossdale Likes Gwen Stefani Better When She's Painted Up
When Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron were together, they'd sometimes wake up next to each other and just as the sun hit his SANS FARDS face, she'd say to him, "You look so much prettier without all that make-up on your face." But those words will never fall out of Gavin Rossdale's mouth, because he likes his wife Gwen Stefani more when she looks like a foundation stick with eyes and red lips. Gwen told Harper's Bazaar (via UsWeekly) that she's usually got face pores full of slap (Yes, I typed "slap" and yes, I've been reading from the Southern Memaw's Dictionary again) and her husband loves her like that:
"I've always been a girl who loves to dress up. I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you. I like to make my husband like me more. And he likes it when I'm wearing makeup."
"And then sometimes, when I've got a bunch of make-up on, he calls me Marilyn. Then he tells me to put on a strap-on and slap his ass cheeks with it. It's weird, but whatever. I do it, because I like to make my husband like me more."

I touched Gavin and wiped some sweat off the back of his neck this past May at a music festival. I was in the front row at the Bush show. It was fucking awesome. I am a nobody and he was giving me the fuck me eyes. I can only imagine he fucks everything that moves. Must be sad for her to know that he is a man whore. Trust me, ladies. He is a fucking god in person. She probably has to look like a clown to get his attention. Poor gwen. At least she got to have his babies.

few years ago, some friends in Calif had somehow got in on some strangers' pick-up beach volleyball game one day, and came running back a while later, all excited, because Gwen Stefani had been one of the ones playing. They were pretty happy about that.

Is putting make-up on that big of a deal? It can take anywhere from 1-30 minutes, maybe more for a big night out. Some people take the trash out in their pajamas, others have to look presentable. It's a choice.

@ Spider....those motocross dudes are a special breed for sure, I grew up on bikes actually but I could never keep up with the really good guys in the dirt, I rode well but launching your bike 20 plus feet high for long distances made my butt slam shut like a June Bug's ass in December!

spider & Whamo -- I know, right? My hair is long and it's a hassle to wash this mop, but I do it. 3-4 days is my usual. I cannot even imagine what a 2-year accumulation of grease & dandruff would look/smell like!!!
Within -- I think Gwen's fashion styls has evolved as she's gotten older. Honestly, she'd look like a fool if she was strutting around in the outfits she wore 20 years ago. I collected some of her Harajuku parfume bottles because they're so freaking cute -- ever see them?

Twatty! I totally agree, it's so nice for both to keep themselves in good shape! I get LaChay and others with saying she is way more into the high fashion than before but she's evolved her look and is always very well put together! I don't know about her beachwear but it's probably related to protecting her skin! I don't blame the IT couple and probably everyone knew how that was going too! If she didn't bother, he probably wasn't motivated to care either. Kinda sad for both!

@ Twatty.....WHAT two years without washing her hair!!! Omg...hhhhmpf hhhmmpppfff *tries not to hurl* can you imagine how disgusting her pillow must have been! Dirt hair is a major pet peeve deal breaker for me. She would have a week before I pour soapy water on her, I literally mean that, I would get her outside and dump a bucket of suds on her so she had to rinse it out for a good while!

Within -- here for a second. I will give Gwen this -- she's one of the rare blondes with dark eyes who can rock that look; I've always admired that about her. Also, I kinda dig that she cares how she looks around her husband. Some people let themselves go completely when they get hitched (no dlisters, though, because all of you are fine bitches). Case in point: I used to work with this IT guy. He got married to this asian girl; she wore one of those lovely satin geisha-inspired dresses, full makeup, wedding went off without a hitch. After the wedding, she started slipping, didn't wear makeup anymore, and her hair started looking really greasey. Long story short: she stopped washing her hair the day of the wedding. They ended up divorcing not even two years after the wedding. She went nearly two years without washing her hair. So in light of something like that, I gotta give Gwen props for wanting to look nice for Gavin. After Stoney's fuck eyes story, I question his gayness; maybe he's bisexual?
