2. Early morning walk
3. Take exercise for at least 30 minutes (Running, Stretching)
4. Eat balance diet and avoid eating heavy foods like junk food, fast food
5. Use more fruits in diet
6. Drink fresh juices
7. Sleep in time.

also when I was pregnant there is a suppository I could take that gave instant barf relief, you shove it up your butt and in less than 5 minutes it's stopped you barfing and taken the nausea away.

I hope they don't drag this dog all over and kill it like they did with that poor fat cat. How people can just drop their pet off when they are too lazy and or dumb to care for it is beyond me. Craigslist is full of assholes who are moving, or having a baby, or some other dumb reason and just dump their pet off with anyone who will take it. Pisses me off.

This has to be more than obesity. Tumors perhaps?? Feel for him and wish him the best.

estee logger, of course not--a dog's not going to survive let alone thrive on that! LOL! I can see where you might have gotten that impression, however.

When a dog has been overfed consistently, they get accustomed to the sensation of having a full gut when they've finished the meal, and many of them will revert to unwanted behaviors such as stool eating, trash-can raiding, counter surfing and flat out food stealing in order to sate their hunger. Plain, puffed brown rice cereal can be substituted for the portion of dog food you're eliminating. If the dog had been getting 6 cups of dog food per meal, replacing one cup of the dog food with the puffed rice eliminates a significant number of calories--so the dog has the same sensation of a full belly. It's also useful to help keep a dog's weight under control if they have a tendency to gain easily, as is sometimes the case with females after they've been spayed. One of my Shepherds was always easy to keep at her perfect weight on 2 cups of a high quality dry food twice a day, until I had her spayed at 8 years of age; from there on, if she was fed more than 3/4 cup of the same food twice daily, she'd pack on pounds--so for each meal she got the 3/4 cup of dog food mixed with a cup of rice puffs and warm water, twice daily, and maintained a healthy weight right up to the day I lost her at 14 1/2 years of age.

within, i had good fun.

its not normally how i go to the football, because usually im in the crowd, swearing "FKING KICK THE BALL YOU SHIT HEAD!!" and stuff like that.

but this time i was invited to the private members club. and anybody who is from england will tell you the cricket club, like the All Englands club, are the biggest TOFFS. like they wear cravats, and pocket squares and things lol

so i thought oh hells, i better kit up. i showed you ma outfit remember? lol

the members club is a different way to watch sports, like you are segregated into the board members, committee members, corporate sponsors and their guest section only, and you have a three course meal, followed by scones with clotted cream and jam, finger cut sandwiches, mini danish pastries, cheesecakes in the intermission ... lol it was really over the top.

whereas normally, i go to the football, we just have beer and meat pies or french fries.

ESE, you gotta stop doing that ahahahaha 1 minute before or 1 minute after, never fails! hahahahaha *waves back*

speaking of fashion, tim gunn! i had awesome fun at the football match the other night in the members club, my friends were jokingly asking me if i was going to a polo match or croquet... i was like "well 1. its spring. 2. this is a cricket's club, and if you are gonna turn up to the cricket's club where melbourne's toffs hang out, you should out-dress them" i didnt even get mud on my white chinos, and it was quite muddy.

The best advice I ever got concerning watering is stick your finger into the ground to the first or second knuckle. If it feels moist, no need to water. For most plants a good soaking every 4 days or so is fine depending on the weather.

awww that poor dog. some pet owners should be slapped with a cold fish for letting their pets get that fat.
for every 1kilogram your pet is overweight its equivalent to 6kilograms on a dog.

@ estee -- i spent most of the summer using fish emulsion and compost; my downfall was months of overwatering ;-( new gardener(this is my 2nd full summer); clay clay clay soil. i spent a fortune in soil amender last season, fertilizer this season. in hindsight, i now know that a $7.95 water/pH/light meter is what would have made the difference this year. i have overwatered for months, months

Expensive weight loss program for a dog? Its not rocket science lady. Just give it one bowl of food a day and let nature take its course.

That puppeh is cute but he looks like a walrus. I'll bet his elderly owners had memory problems and couldn't remember if they had already fed him, so they would feed him again just to be on the safe side (I've done that with my dog, sad to say).

estee -- i forgot about "apples," lol. curious -- do the apples have same fertilizing properties as cow "pies?" on GG's advice, i applied dried cow pie to garden about 10 days ago. SO so wish i had started with it before now...

Shit like this makes me violently angry. It wouldn't be all cute and funny if it were a human kid that got overstuffed by stupid and negligent parents, everyone would be all "that's child abuse, childhood obesity is such an epidemic, irresponsible parents, blah blah blah" But when it's an animal we're just expected to give an "Oh my!" and giggle at it.
I feed my two cats twice a day, morning and night. No dry food to nosh on continuously. And you know what, I love them to death. I would do anything to help them, to keep them from feeling pain, whatever. And because I love them, I really want to take care of them and not let them get some fat-related disease like diabetes.
