Cameron Diaz tells Esquire UK (via Daily Mail) what every actress tells magazines: she LOVES getting older and she's never felt this good in her life and feels better at 40 than she did at 25. BLAH BLAH BLAH. If you don't believe Cameron, then spend some time with the exquisite portraits of subtle elegance that Terry Richardson took of her for the magazine. Us women (and some guys) know the POWER of makeup (and photoshop). It can hide EVERYTHING! It can hide the ugly (zits, pigmentation, birthmarks, large pores, etc). And Cameron knows that POWER more than anyone! I remember seeing her in The Mask and thinking wow she is absolutely stunning. Then I saw her without layers & layers of foundation and I was shocked. She looked like a different woman. She was kind of fug.
I will admit that she has an amazing body, especially her legs. But the face is average, at best.

Eh I can't hate on her. I like how she's done her own thing and lived her life without getting all obsessed with family and popping out kids early on. There's nothing wrong with having a baby mindset in your twenties, but I didn't have it, still don't have it and so I feel like I can relate. Not a fan of the fake titties though. @Dementa and Sillykat, Cher is the woman for you, she has been very vocal about how much she loathes getting older and straight-up said "I hate my 50s" when asked by an interviewer. (Back when she was actually in her 50s.)
Cameron seems extremely immature and I'm not surprised she is stupid enough to think posing with her ass in the air and her breasts falling out of her top is the only way to prove she is still "hot" at her age.

As someone who had a bitch of a time turning 40 this year (and is still traumatized by it to a degree) I love that she is putting it out there. If she looked bad we'd all be giving her shit "for not aging well". I agree with some of you that women are just as much to blame for perpetuating the idea that we need to look a certain way, I guess I'm now choosing to come down on the side of being supportive of women who continue to put it out there. Now that I'm a "woman of a certain age" I think it's great for women this age to show they can still be hot, even if they're only doing it to keep up with the young'uns. I guess I see it as the only way to change the mindset that over 35=past your expiration date.
Again, I realize I'm saying this because of my own insecurities. But I still think its true.
