Hot Sluts Of The Day!
Warning: It has been reported that an F6 dust tornado has just hit your computer area and somebody nearby is chopping onions while a swarm of bees sneeze out pollen, and that's the reason why your Mojave Desert tear ducts are suddenly filling with a strange, warm liquid that's trickling down your cheeks. It has nothing to do with today's Hot Sluts: the PUPPIES!!!! who kept a 10-year-old boy with Down Syndrome warm when he got lost in the woods overnight. No, you're not experiencing your usual morning anal leakage. That's your heart melting and slipping out of your b-hole from reading that bolded sentence.
Alabama's 48News says that 10-year-old Kyle Camp went missing from his home in Hackelburg at around 7pm on Tuesday night. The Sheriff's Department, a helicopter and dozens upon dozens of volunteers spent the entire night searching for him in the woods and they came up with nothing. Then the next morning, a volunteer's dog led him to the creek where the volunteer found the dog's puppies cuddling up against Kyle. Kyle was wet, didn't have any shoes on and the police "think" the puppies kept him warm the entire night. Kyle was treated for scrapes and bruises at a nearby hospital and is going to be okay. Sadly, the selfless puppies later died of heat exhaustion suffered while keeping Kyle warm. Okay, I made that last part up, but still, THAT story.
How is this not the plot of a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie and how did this happen in real life? Don't try to bring me down by saying the puppies kidnapped Kyle, dragged him into the woods, baked him by cuddling up against him and then tried to lick his skin off to get to the meat. I won't believe that.
All those bitches from Homeward Bound, Benji and Lassie can call it a day and retire to the kennel at Shady Pines, because these hero puppies got this.

So weird...the same thing happened to me just a few days ago.
Except, as it turns out, it wasn't the woods--it was my neighbor's garden.
There were puppies, though.
But I wasn't cold, I was hungry.
So...yeah.

Couldn't agree more. Most people in the south either can't afford to spay/neuter their pets or are too ignorant.

You're trash. There's no argument to be made, I'm simply informing you. There are strays in every city, town, state and region of the country and every part of the world. If you are ignorant enough not to know that, you're simply trash.

So happy this story had a happy ending! There was an outpouring of support in finding this little man and so glad he had his little friends to keep him safe.
(Ouch at that first line, though. I'm sure you didn't know but this small town where story happened was completely destroyed by an EF 5 tornado last year and dozens of people were killed...)
--
I'm glad someone else caught that! That poor town went through absolute hell. As I recall, the school was completely destroyed. We had fundraisers at our school for helping them to rebuild.
Why were the puppehs left outside all night? I am missing something?
OMG Puppehs rule!!!

I'm happy the little boy in this story was okay but I get kind of stabby when people don't spay or neuter their animals. They said that the puppies were lost as well, so was the owner even going to bother to look for them? If the pups weren't vaccinated they shouldn't have been running around in the woods anyways.
----------------------------
Yeah, that part confused me, too. Kind of takes the shine off the story.
Im in the gyno's office right now (No I'm not pregnant)... There's new age music blasting in the lobby, angels are singing, there's a flute and all of a sudden I stumble upon this. I am horrified to know that I have feelings and I dont know if it's the music or the great concentration of female hormones that has filled my dry tear ducts with glistening raindrops.... I feel.
doggies rule but of my 2 its the girl ( a chihuahua mix ) who is like a daughter-she knows when Im upset and comes and sits on my lap offering her paw whereas my dalmatian is a big dumb lump of spots and love who needs to be taken care of and supervised by either me or her ( but like my husband really)....
Glad the kid was OK and puppehs are adorable but man there are some fat asses in that clip!

This is the best story ever! I totally teared up during the video. Go doggy!

"This bitch is crazier than a pillowcase full of clear-level scientologist possums."
I have one dog and 24 cats...yes I am offically the CRAZY CAT LADY...most are in the yard...and yes they all showed up none was adopted from a shelter I just started feeding this one cat who ended up in my garage, then another one came, then another homeless pregnant one came, and then one in the tree, one on my roof, one just walked in my house, all now are spayed and neutered (except for MOna who has a heart condition), and loved and I go broked feeding them but I feel protected by my cats, cats are more of a spiritual connection, they are aloof but yet affectionate, and trust me there are such things as guard cats...just let someone try to hurt me, I got 24 bad ass cats ready to maul and kick ass...my doggy is a warrior too, but mainly lets the cats run the show...cause she is seriosly outnumbered, she has help raise four litters though, so she is part cat now.
puppeh's as usual rule!! Anybody read about Xena the Warrior Puppy in Georgia. That is another amazing story...long live puppehs!!
As a cat lover, I have to agree. My cat (RIP) was a "dog cat" who had the personality of a dog. She would lay on her back to get her belly rubbed, she would fetch, play ball, etc. But even I know the limitations of cats. Though she was protective of us when strangers would come to the house, I really doubt she (or any other cats) would do anything heroic like a dog would.

AWWW...... you wouldn't see a cat do this! Yea, puppers!!!
Awww, those wonderful puppies -- yay, puppies! I love all animals, especially doggehs & kittehs. I grew up with dogs my whole life and I miss every one of them. I grew up with mostly basset hounds, perhaps the best breed there is. And I got my first kitteh 3 years ago. Poor thing passed away this past March and I miss her every day; I thought of her the other day and started crying. And now I am officially a crazy cat lady -- I love cats!
68Special -- bless you for taking in so many animals and caring for them.

LMAO, I can't stand her in Homeland but she did well in the other film.
Dr. Dick and Hockeyfan's stories made me cry, too.
Dammit. :)
I had a burmese kitten that moved over to a neighbor's (it was meant to be). Their son is mentally disabled, in a wheelchair and emotes loudly but that cat slept near him and didn't bat anything when his tail got pulled a few times on accident. He just chilled with the kid and was an awesome cat for them.
Right now, our family is giving a home to 5 dogs and 11 cats of whom 4 of the dogs and all of the cats were either dumped off or adopted from the shelter.
There is a huge feral population of cats living in different communities around the island. Volunteers take care of the cats by feeding them and then we trap them and take them into clinics that give us reduced-cost vaccinations and spaying or neutering. Their ears are then notched for identification and they are released back into their "families".
Eight of my horses and at least 15 of my goats are rescues and one stop away from the auction/slaughter house.
Like so many others that give homeless pets a home, these animals; each and every one, gives far more than they take. I am honored and privileged to be their caretaker.

My avie is my sweet puppy-friend when she was just a wee one. Now she's an enormous 6.5 lbs. I wuv that widdle thing with all my whole heart! She was pissed at me last night, though, because the hubs came home from a long business trip & I was cuddling him instead of her. So, she woke us both up & the hubs had to go sleep on the couch with her. Not. Spoiled. At. All.

I love stories like that. Dogs are so much better than people. We used to have a chow/boxer mix (RIP) and who was fiercely protective of us (me especially) and would bark and growl whenever people would come to the house. The first time he met my disable niece just sat down and quietly let her pet him. He would never bark when my sister and her family would come to the house.
He died in 2002 after I moved to Houston and I miss him every fucking day. He was my brother's dog, but he was my baby.

I totally believe this story. Years ago I had a friend visiting with her severely autistic son. My dog (RIP) had never met him and did not leave his side the entire time he was there. Literally making every step. She never did that to another child before or after. She knew that child needed extra protection. It was really amazing. If only people had the same purity of heart that dogs have. Team doggies!
********
I had a dog like this too (RIP for mine, and yours too). We used to walk by this one house every day where there lived a severely handicapped adult daughter with her mom. She came outside one day and she couldn't talk, just made gutteral noises, but clearly wanted to pet my dog. I was worried what his reaction would be, but he sat right down in the middle of the street and let her just maul him. It was like he knew she wouldn't hurt him. I was so proud of him, bc he was only about a year old and he just let her love him, like he knew that's what she needed. Team doggies, indeed.
#awesomepuppyheroes!
There's some warm liquid coming out of my eyes. Makeup ruined. Totally worth the loss of Maybelline.

The animal stories don't get me all misty-eyed, but they're nice. I prefer to rag on Kardashians and Lohans.
The puppies didn't do it, it was the mention of a handicapped child. That gets me every time (have two myself, so there you go). Cannot watch anything about autistic people, etc. in public because I can't not cry. Cried all the way through the one with Clare Danes about Temple Grandin. I do love that the puppies stayed with the little boy, so.... *crying again*
Oh my god! I actually cried reading this. It's the most adorable story ever. I'm a sucker for puppies and for dog movies but this should be a lifetime movie instead of the Liz and Dick shit with Blohan.
I truly believe that you haven't begun to scoop up all of life's beautiful moments until you've heard the line "Watch the wig!" from a piece while sitting on their face. - MK

Aww look at these cute little critters, how can people not like doggies much less not like PUPPY dogs?. I mean look at the little ears and mouth on these little guys lol
I saw this on the news last night, can't condemn the folks as shit happens sometimes but I guess they'll be keeping a closer eye on their kid if he's a wanderer.
